The 17th International Workshop on Empirical Methods in Energy Economics (EMEE 2026) will take place at Charles University in Prague, organised by The Environment Centre and the Institute of Economic Studies.

The EMEE workshop is intended as a forum for exchanging ideas and presenting new empirical research in energy economics, emphasising innovative econometric approaches, rigorous study designs, comprehensive datasets, and strong policy relevance.

Registration form

Researchers are invited to submit extended abstracts (3–5 pages) addressing four broad fields:

1. Experimental and quasi-experimental designs
2. Panel data analysis
3. Structural econometrics
4. Energy and development
5. The extended abstract should be sent to emee2026@czp.cuni.cz, add “EMEE paper submission” in the email subject.
